Armin Strom, the Swiss Independent luxury watch manufacturer renowned for their striking transparent watches, has collaborated with the widely celebrated Finnish watchmaker Kari Voutilainen, a close friend of Serge Michel and Claude Geissler.
Launched in 2019, the Gravity Equal Force embodied Armin Strom’s core philosophy; bringing innovation to every watch. As the world’s first automatic watch with constant force transmission, it combined the brand’s passion for transparent mechanics and distinctive design with its commitment to redefining the horological industry. Becoming the foremost in delivering constant and consistent power to the balance.
Celebrating the brand’s milestone piece, the Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire brings a fresh new look. The watch features steel hands with Super-LumiNova® filling nestled atop the off-center grey-toned sapphire dial, offering an unobstructed look at the fascinating ASB19 movement with the celebrated “stop work” mechanism.
An unobstructed view of the movement’s black plate guilloche pattern handcrafted by the renowned Finnish watchmaker Kari Voutilainen is made possible by Armin Strom’s special expertise in skeleton mechanics.

The watch has been well received in early presentations to collectors, however the limited capacity for production means that the Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire will always be a rare piece. Half of all future production will be done on a first-come/first-serve basis.
Presented in a classic 41 mm stainless-steel case, the Armin Strom Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire comes with a black fabric strap with light grey stitching, subtly maintaining the watch’s cool monochrome color scheme.
The Gravity Equal Force Ultimate Sapphire costs SGD 35,730 (including taxes), and will be available from October 2021 with a limited production of 15 pieces for 2021. Due to the limited capacity, this special timepiece will be available subsequently in small quantities per year.
