About Montblanc
Synonymous with excellence in craftsmanship and design, Montblanc has been pushing the boundaries of innovation ever since the Maison first revolutionized the writing culture in 1906. Today, the Maison continues to advance its expression of fine craftsmanship across luxury writing instruments, watches, leather goods, new technologies and accessories.
The History of Montblanc
Established in 1906 in Germany, Montblanc rapidly rose to international prominence as a manufacturer of writing instruments.
Its Meisterstück, launched in 1924, would become the world’s most celebrated pen. Now part of the Richemont Group, the company took its first steps in watchmaking in 1997, gradually upgrading production with the Profile, TimeWalker and Star collections. In 2006, Montblanc brought Minerva into its fold, a movement manufacturer based in Villeret, in the Swiss Jura. A year later, Montblanc unveiled its Fine Watch collections, first Villeret 1858 then Nicolas Rieussec, now rooted in a union of state-of-the-art technology and handcrafting.

About Montblanc’s Collections
The Montblanc timepieces today continue the journey of Minerva legacy, focusing on three unique fine watchmaking explorations – the Spirit of Exploration based on the saga of military watches (Montblanc 1858), the Spirit of Classical Fine Watchmaking based on classical pocket and wristwatches (Montblanc Star Legacy Collection) and the Neo-dandy style (Montblanc Heritage Collection) – that all link the past and the present through design, style and technical innovation.
