Singapore – Asia’s leading watch specialist, Sincere Fine Watches, recently launched its new instalment of the well-received 100 Masterpieces featuring Franck Muller, showcasing 100 Masterpieces from the Master of Complications on 1st November 2018, Thursday. The ‘100’ exhibition pays tribute to many of the groundbreaking horological inventions created by the Manufacture, a Maestro that continues to fascinate and inspire watch enthusiasts today.
Celebrating the launch of the 100 Masterpieces exhibition, an exclusive cocktail party for VVIP customers was hosted by Mr. Ong Ban, CEO of Sincere Fine Watches and Mr. O Wee Yong, Brand Vice-President of Franck Muller. Upon arrival, guests were greeted by the captivating window facade and displays dominated by the House’s showcase of its 26-year history. Along with his band of four, the talented Gareth Fernandez, took centerstage with upbeat pop jazzy tunes, entertaining guests throughout the evening with a mix of classic and current hits, including his own original single “Bit of Your Love”.
Guests were pampered with chilled bubbly alongside various imaginative hor d’oeuvres, which included the galaxy bon bon, a play on the exhibition’s star highlight, the Vanguard Gravity Skeleton in a fascinating Carbon Ergal case!
The spectacular evening highlighted a specially curated selection of Franck Muller’s finest timepieces, which includes the Evolution 3-1, featuring an extraordinary triple-axis tourbillon that is paired with a perpetual calendar; as well as the Giga Tourbillon from 2011, boasting a large tourbillon escapement – twice as large as a regular tourbillon – to be housed in a wristwatch.
Complementing these World Premieres are iconic pieces that have made Franck Muller a part of modern-day horological lexicon. Creations like the Master Banker, a multi-time zone watch introduced in 1996; the Cintrée Curvex Imperial Tourbillon, a stunning complication housed in Franck Muller’s signature curved tonneau-shaped case; and the Double Mystery, a bejewelled dazzler that uses a system of rotating discs instead of hands to display time, are all statement-making creations that contribute to the brand’s reputation and esteem.
The 100 Masterpieces exhibition expresses the magic that happens in Watchland where technology meets avant-garde design, and where traditional Swiss watchmaking is demonstrated with a dash of boldness. It is the quintessential showcase of fine watchmaking and held across two weeks, from 1st November 2018 to 15th November 2018 at Sincere Fine Watches’ flagship boutique, Takashimaya Shopping Centre #01-12. Take a moment to experience a horological treat for your senses.
