Czapek & Cie. is a contemporary watchmaking Maison originally founded by Czech-born Polish watchmaker François Czapek in Geneva in 1845.

The Czapek & Cie. name was relaunched in 2015 by a group of watch enthusiasts who sought to revive the Maison’s heritage and craftsmanship. Today, Czapek’s Haute Horlogerie timepieces are known for their distinctive designs, artisanal dials and exquisite craftsmanship.

Moritz Grossmann

Moritz Grossmann was a visionary among Germany’s esteemed horologists, who established his atelier in Glashütte in 1854.
