The Minase SEVEN WINDOWS MAKI-E “Yoshino-Sakura” celebrates Japan’s iconic cherry blossom through refined maki-e craftsmanship. Inspired by the Nara-period technique of embedding gold dust and raden (nacre) into lacquerware, the dial depicts orderly yet expressive sakura motifs. Using more than five types of processed gold, silver, and coloured metals, each blossom reveals subtle individuality within a harmonious composition.
