As a valued partner, Lang & Heyne was among the three distinguished manufacturers to launch the inaugural SHH Editions at the opening of Sincere’s concept boutique, SHH (Sincere Haute Horlogerie), in Singapore back in 2022. This enduring collaboration is again showcased as Lang & Heyne and Sincere Fine Watches collaborate to present the latest Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition.
Located in Dresden, Germany, Lang & Heyne is renowned for crafting exquisite timepieces from the finest materials. The production process demands exceptional skill and expertise, from constructing movement components, hands, and cases to their refined finishing. The Friedrich III Remontoir Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition distinguishes itself from the current collection, with its unique dial design. Unlike the conventional solid silver dials, this edition features a ceramic dial with a sand-blasted royal blue solid silver decorative plate at the center. The interplay of colors and textures, highlighted by the frosted givree-finished blue center against the smooth white ceramic periphery and seconds subdial, adds depth and character, enhancing the dial’s captivating appeal.
The Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition draws striking parallels with the inaugural Lang & Heyne Georg SHH Edition launched in 2022. It features a similar combination of materials, colours, and finishing techniques on the dial and employs the same three-part dial concept. The seconds subdial, measuring just 0.4 mm thick, sits lower than the main ceramic dial and royal blue silver decorative plate at the center, precisely fitting into the baseplate’s recess with sanded outer contours. Chamfered and polished edges enhance the dial’s sophisticated, three-dimensional appearance.
Limited to 7 pieces, this timepiece pays homage to the Georg SHH Edition while asserting its uniqueness within the collection, making it a fitting tribute to Sincere’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The Caliber VI-I movement is distinguished by its exceptional finishing across its components and meticulous hand engraving performed by skilled craftsmen. The baseplate is intricately engraved with ‘One of 7’, underscoring the exclusivity of the Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition. On the open caseback, Sincere’s 70th Anniversary logo is elegantly engraved on the sapphire glass paying homage to the occasion. The balance cock features an intricate pattern, meticulously etched to further enhance the aesthetic of the movement.
REMONTOIR COMPLICATION
Lang & Heyne watchmakers’ dedication to precision and craftsmanship has contributed to the smooth and efficient power transmission of the movement. Positioned beside the escape wheel of the Sincere Platinum Jubilee Edition, the remontoir complication provides the visual appeal of the jumping seconds on the dial while effectively regulating and controlling the mainspring, resulting in a consistent transfer of energy across the entire power reserve of the timepiece.
The Remontoir operates by incorporating an intermediate energy accumulator that is regularly re-tensioned by the movement of the gear train. When the primary energy source – the mainspring, transfers its energy to the watch’s wheel chain, the Remontoir’s locking mechanism temporarily halts this energy flow, redirecting it into an intermediate spring. This intermediate spring then powers the remaining gears up to the escapement, which regulates timekeeping. A control element moving with the gear train activates the locking mechanism at regular intervals, ensuring a steady and precise release of energy. This process not only keeps the watch running smoothly but also results in a jumping seconds display on the dial.
